She continues in her practice helping people with FMS in both countries.
What is Fibromyalgia?
Fibromyalgia is a complex, difficult, and disabling condition which magnifies pain, musculo-skeletal discomfort, sleep quality, and much more. It is important to understand that FMS is a biochemical disorder which affects the whole body. It is common to also suffer with arthritis, myofascial pain, multiple sclerosis, etc. FMS is a central nervous condition and it is real. If you have recently been diagnosed or have been aware of your condition for some time, you already know the effects of chronic pain.
What is Your Goal Now You have FMS?
The first step is correct diagnosis
The first step is to ensure you have been adequately and correctly diagnosed. There are four or five similar problems with the same symptoms as FMS. One of them, a related arthritic illness called Polymyalgia Rheumatica, can be relieved of it's pain within a very short period. Whereas you need to manage your life very carefully to help your FMS symptoms.
The second step is to have good support.
It is important that your caregivers, your relatives and friends all
understand your Fibromyalgia. Some people may have to overcome past
beliefs and ideas before they can helpfully accept your limitations.
You must gently help them to overcome these beliefs.
Find a supportive doctor, one who understands your
condition. Find supportive people and avoid those who are not. Find
a good support group where you can meet others with
Fibro. You will discover that everyone looks normal and those who are
happiest are accepting of their limitations and get on with their lives as
best they can. Once you have spoken to them you will find that those who
self-manage their lives carefully are living with the best results.
These FMS people will have accepted their FMS
condition and limitations. Now they successfully self-manage their
life to let them fulfil the altered goals they now have. Many still
work, perhaps at a task that accounts for their unwellness. Many play
various sports which suit them and one which enables them to still be
active. You can try out various therapies and find one that suits you to
relieve and improve your condition. The most important fact to
remember is that we can all be unwell but the better we manage, the
better quality of life we have
Various therapies do help.
Chronic pain as a result of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Arthritis, and TMJ is perhaps the most difficult condition to describe to those who don't have it. No one else can know just how much you hurt. Nor can they understand that pain is a personal and an emotional issue. There is no way to "get used to the pain" and over time, chronic pain becomes harder to endure. After a time, your brain produces fewer endorphins to counter the same or increased pain.
Depression is a normal response to chronic pain and lack of sleep. If you are already depressed, chronic pain will intensify normal depressed reactions and must be dealt with. Research shows that the stress of living with chronic pain, not just personal or family conditions, may produce depression. Chronic pain itself can also cause fatigue, difficulties concentrating, changes in appetite and withdrawal from life.
Chronic pain is an aggressive condition that must be vigorously treated as soon as possible, before it leads to central nervous system hypersensitivity and muscle tightness, and then to even more pain.
FMS can be greatly relieved with "mindwork"
A Mindful Solution offers several programs which have proven to provide incredible relief and a sense of self-determination.
The process is essentially self-hypnosis which puts you in a peaceful meditative state, your breathing slows and deepens, your circulation improves and there is an increased blood flow to your muscles. You will easily understand how this may help your FMS.
The best time to listen to a C.D. is when you can lie down. If you fall asleep, that's O.K. Our programs gently lead your subconscious on a path of wellness and positive expectations.
You see, the mind-body connection is strong. By regularly making a quiet time for yourself, your body can get used to being relaxed. Sometimes the body needs to be reminded that the brain is in charge. When your subconscious accepts the positive messages, they are always there for you to use for your benefit.

Hypnosis for self-improvement, whether your desire is to lose weight, stop smoking, control addictions, reduce the negative effects of past events or memories, or to help you achieve certain goals, you will find that our professional CDs allow you the privacy and convenience to reach your goals.
Most of us have felt the desire or need to improve or change ourselves for the better and, even though we know it is what we want to do, we often find ourselves frustrated. Even with the best intentions, we often sabotage ourselves. No one else is responsible for our self-improvement, so we must take the full responsibility for ourselves. Genuine, legitimate improvement is never easy, but hypnosis can be the easiest, and in many cases, the only way.
Using hypnosis, you can harness and direct the boundless power of your mind. The reason most problems are difficult to solve is because the answer and the resistance is within the subconscious mind. If change or personal improvement were solely in the conscious mind, you would have taken care of the problem earlier. A Mindful Solution is here to help you gain access to your subconscious mind so that you can be in control of yourself, get what you want, or behave as you wish.

Key Benefits
|
|
|
MYTH #1 - Loss of Consciousness: In hypnosis you DO NOT lose awareness or fall asleep. You are alert and aware at all times. You hear eveything. You might look like you are asleep with your eyes closed, but you are definitely aware and fully focused on what you want.
MYTH #2 - Hypnotized people do odd and crazy things: There is a big difference between stage hypnosis for entertainment and hypnotherapy (creating a frame of mind for self-improvement). The hypnotist does not have power over anyone. People who volunteer for entertainment purposes are only doing what they want to do anyway.
MYTH #3 - Hypnotized people lose control: Definitely FALSE! All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. Although you are guided to reach a calm hypnotic state of mind, you are always in control.
MYTH #4 - The greater the intelligence, the better the results: Wrong again! Motivation is the strongest ingredient.
MYTH #5 - Secrets come out under hypnosis: Nothing is revealed that you don't want revealed. Hypnosis is subjective, meaning that you make what you want from the experience.
MYTH #6 - Hypnosis can take over your mind: Really? How could that happen? Hypnosis is the most efficient, most effective way to get your own "will power" kicked into motion. Words are very important in hypnotherapy to change the unconscious messages to agree with your conscious thoughts and desires. Aligning the two functions of your brain is what we call "will power" - your will power!
