A Letter from Zanne - 4
Friday, October 19, 2001 6:52 am
I took Teddy to the local small hospital last Wednesday for his final few days. He has settled quite well and is eating a little and the staff make him drink which I could not do. This was Ted's own decision last Sunday when he came out of his funny world and we were able to talk for a short time before I lost him again.
As you can imagine my world has fallen to pieces but I will manage to live on my own quite well once I get used to it. I am going to drive to Huntly this morning - feel ever so brave but I have to do this because I must be independent.
I have cried a lot and slept a lot. But I will survive and the pain in my body will settle down once I stop being so sad. Even though I am sad, I am not miserable. I just thought of that - so it is a bonus!
Love Zanne
We are all thinking of you Zanne
