Proposed Legislation for Supplements
The present Labour administration was quietly (secretly) trying to sign an agreement with Australia for us to adopt their control and restrictions on Supplements. 

The full legislation was put quietly (secretly) on Medsafe's website on 7 June. Promised in March - submissions close in 6 weeks! - on 2 August 2002.

If this draconian legislation is adopted in New Zealand, we will not be able to import supplements of our choice and chemists may NOT be able to register, import, & manufacture for us in this country - let alone stay in business.

This is very worrying - Everyone Agrees!

N.Z. was in the forefront of
International legislation in 1985
U.S.A. copied our legislation in 1994
These new laws restrict and deny us freedom of choice.
With our present freedom to choose our own supplements,
New Zealanders ensure we are not a cost or drain
on the N.Z. Health System!
Let us all remain
being responsible for our own health!
