Through The Pain

Your being isn't here now,
you cannot see, you do not feel;
But thoughts that overwhelm you
make it seem so real.

It's not what you expected,
we never can tell when,
But life can sometimes shut us down
before our minds open.

Then in a quiet moment,
you find your shattered soul;
You're through your pain with wisdom
and have taken back control.

With eyes that now are sharpened,
your feelings now intact;
Those moments that deprived you
are never coming back.

So trust in what you've learned,
and take this second chance;
The child that is inside you,
is alive and wants to dance.

"Through The Pain." Here are the words to a song with lyrics, which we can all relate to. It takes us on a journey of being stunned, realizing, awakening, accepting and moving on. Each verse takes us through the five stages, in the previous order, of coming to terms with our pain and loss in this case.
Linda has a story of fibro too, but she chooses to live with it and tries to keep positive - suffering only on the bad days and "still learning" that a good day does not mean she is freed from the pain, but simply is just a moment in time to help her cope, when she thinks she can't. This is a formula, which works well for her.
Linda has more inspirational thought and much of it is set to lyrics. We hope to publish more in the future.
Thank you, Linda. - Ed.
