This site has been developed to collate information for all people with Fibromyalgia, their relatives, friends and caregivers, and particularly for people in the Pacific Rim, Australasia and New Zealand who are affected in some way by this medical problem.
We have included Occupational Overuse Syndrome or Repetitive Strain Injury (OOS or RSI), as it is a sub-branch of Fibromyalgia. Because Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) overlaps into various illnesses and there are good websites on this condition, CFS is not as detailed.
We include all people on the Internet in Australasia, Oceania and further afield because demand for our newsletter 'Positive Living' is now widely spread. Originally, our purpose was simply to have an online presence for 'Positive Living - Postal' which was published for Auckland, N.Z. Fibromyalgia Support, but which now enjoys wide readership and demand throughout New Zealand.
We encourage everyone to make this site known to caregivers, relatives and friends, members and associated people of the medical profession, to help with dissemination of local knowledge about Fibromyalgia in Oceania, Australasia and New Zealand.
We suggest you explore ‘Positive Living’ and especially the 'Positive Living' archives which are updated and added to regularly, and contain much valuable information. We trust you have an interesting journey.
